Prostate cancer is a slow growing disease, however, in later stages very difficult to treat effectively. The numbers are astonishing, but not surprising. Every sixth man will receive a prostate cancer diagnosis at some point in is life. Each year and in the United States alone around 200,000 new patients are getting diagnosed with prostate cancer. And a solid 15% will ultimately lead to death.
