Since this website provides a lot of information about mesothelioma and asbestos, I just learned something interesting. Asbestos is quite frequently misspelled and shows up in Goolge and sometimes even on business websites, as “aspestos.” This is interesting, just because you would thing that considering that it is such serious topic, especially the business websites would check their content more carefully and make that they don't end up using words like aspestos removal instead of asbestos removal, aspestos cancer instead of asbestos cancer, aspestos disposal instead of asbestos disposal, aspestos insulation instead of asbestos insulation and aspestos exposure instead of asbestos exposure within their content or banners.
And please don't think I mean to critisize. My English is far short of being perfect. As a matter of fact it is my second language and if it wasn't for automatic spell-checking tools I certainly would be in deep trouble. But since Mesothelioma and asbestos induced diseases such as lung cancer are such a delicate topic, one would assume that at least the professionals who work in that business, would do their due dilligence in order to provider their potential customers with adequate representation in order to be successful. It must look weird to a mesothelioma cancer patient who seeks the advice of a professional and expert and then comes across with a website holding tons of misspelled versions of the main subject. I guess that wouldn't look to good in any business, would it? But again, it can happen easily.
As I typed down this little article, I for example misstyed mesothelioma three times and asbestos at least two times. However, that's why I use a spell checker because before I go ahead with posting something on-line, I want to make sure that there are at least no more typos floating around all over the place. But anyway, at least you and I know, it's asbestos, not aspestos...;-)
